Based in Brisbane, the Queensland University of Technology offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It has a student strength of 40000, including 6000 overseas students. Academic courses at the University include technological sciences, legal studies, health and allied medicine, and business, among others. The university operates out of 4 premises: Gardens Point (housing an Art Museum and a Theatre venue), Kelvin Grove, Carseldine and Caboolture. One of the premises has established a unique Biomedical and Health innovative institution that facilitates research studies in these fields.
